Lucky 13

For a while this morning I thought I lost my phone at Lagoon.  But lucky me, I only lost it in Emilie's car.

I made my kids clean out the window wells, and they thought that was cruel and unusual punishment.  But lucky them, they found a frog down there and I let them keep it.

At first we thought the frog was dead, but Will put him down in some water, and lucky frog, he revived.  He is very fat and potato colored, so the kids named in Tater.  We are going to take him to the pond by our house in another day or two.

For a while this afternoon, my kids thought they were going to have to stay home all day doing nasty chores like cleaning out the window wells.  But lucky them, I had to go get my phone back from Em's, and she invited us all out to swim in her pool. Lucky, lucky kids had a great time.

Since we were headed out there at dinner time, we stopped and got some pizzas, so lucky us, no dinner to cook and clean up after.

Now I have a rather long and daunting string of work days ahead of me, but lucky me, at least I have a job.
