July 12 was Sneak-Off-To-Lagoon-with-Your-Best Friend Day.  Sorry if you missed it- it was not well publicized since my kids were not invited.  But it was awesome.   Emilie is the perfect friend to go to Lagoon with, because we agree on most all of the rides.  Neither of us will go near the Wild Mouse, and neither of us like Jet Star much.  We rode Wicked, and it was wicked, but we only rode it once because we are old now,  I guess.  I would swear the Rocket is higher this year.  I don't remember being even with the tops of the mountains.  We got drenched on Rattlesnake Rapids and tried out the new roller coaster too.  Then they had to stop down the sky ride for us while we stashed our water bottles somewhere.  It would have been nice to know we couldn't take water bottles before we were standing there ready to jump on the seat.  I never had a ride shut down for me before.  That was kind of cool, and of course it would happen with Emilie.   Things like that tend to happen to us when we are together.
