Thanks to my husband, son, a kind neighbor, and his truck, the bushes in front of our porch are history, along with the overgrown rose bush on the side of the house. Yeehah. Although, I have mixed feelings about the rose bush. It was an old ugly beast, but the roses were lovely.
J and J Garden Center was packed today. We weren't stupid enough to go there the Saturday before Mother's Day. We just attempted the drive down Gentile, which on spring and summer Saturdays is lined with cars for about 6 blocks in either direction of the place. Gentile is not a wide road, so with cars lining both sides, it can be a tricky drive. Especially when you get behind a tractor.
It is 7:36 in the evening and we are just now thinking about dinner.
We noticed today that Audrey and Olivia both need new flip flops.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let all of these things be signs that good weather is finally here to stay for more than a day....
