Alisa turned 18 today, so we threw all her stuff out the window, kicked her out, and told her to not let the door hit her in the butt. No, I'm kidding. Actually, we took her out to breakfast, lunch and dinner, gave her a wad of cash to help fund her Europe trip, AND took her shopping. It's good she is such a sweet kid, in spite of being so indulged. Can I still call her a kid, now that I am no longer legally responsible for her actions???
I can't let today pass without mentioning what a wonderful, beautiful, smart, funny, sassy, brave, caring, intuitive and charming daughter we have. And how great it has been to have her grace our home for the past 18 years. Turns out 18 years isn't as long as you think it's going to be.
P.S. I just figured out that the strange object in the lower right of the picture is Will's finger, covered in chocolate frosting.
