Bear Lake
We had a great day today, sitting on the beach of Bear Lake and splashing around in the water. We even rented a boat for an hour, and Mitch, his friend Joo, me and my dad took turns behind the wheel, cruising all around the lake. We even parked in the middle for a bit and all jumped in and had a great time just floating around for a while. The water is so blue and clean. All my life I have heard people tell about how much they love Bear Lake and what a great place it is. And until today, I never really got it. Bear Lake just seemed cold and big and far away and too much of a tourist trap for my taste. But I guess living in Cache Valley for over a decade now has truly converted me, and after swimming in the middle of that blue water, I can now say I get why people love that place. Of course we stopped at LaBeaus on the way home for a chocolate raspberry shake-that was quick to become a tradition in our family! As soon as my dad emails some pictures to me, I will post a few. Because, true to form, I forgot my camera!
