Put on a Happy Face

Happy August! We are putting on our smiley faces, determined to enjoy the month, and not pout over the fact that the beginning of August means the end of summer. And I especially am working on my smiley face, given that Mitch leaves in just about 36 hours or so. I am going to be such a mess on Sunday. Truth be told, I am pretty much a mess already. When I even think about him leaving, I get very teary and choked up. I don't know what it will be like when the time comes to really tell him goodbye. I just hope I don't make it harder on him than it already will be. I am still telling myself to buck up and be brave-look ahead and not back- all that good stuff. Hope it works.
