I am a person that enjoys my bathtub, and I like to take a bath every night after the kids are all in bed and nobody is pounding down our one and only bathroom door to get to the toilet. About once every other month or so, as I am getting into the bath, I find a little visitor in the tub. Yes, we have bathroom bugs!! Or bathroom bug, I should say, since there is usually only one at a time. Tonight's visitor was smart enough to be on the floor instead of in the tub, so he escaped with his life. I usually wash them down the drain. I just can't figure out where they are coming from! This has been going on, year round, for as long as we have lived in this house. It doesn't happen often enough that I even think much about it until I see another one, and I usually only see them late at night, as I am getting in the tub. It is not a very scary looking bug, and it is not a very large bug, but it is still rather creepy to think of bugs living in your bathroom, especially a bug that appears to be native to the bathroom, as I have never ever seen this kind of bug anywhere else, ever. The really wierd thing, now that I think about it, is that nobody else in the family has ever mentioned seeing bugs in the bathroom. Maybe they only come out for me.
The other thing that is bugging me tonight is that it is now past two in the morning, and I am waiting up for Alisa to get home. She is driving on I 15 right now, coming home from a concert in Salt Lake that was supposed to start at 8 and didn't start until after 10. I do not like waiting up for a girl driving home on the freeway at 2 AM. She is not alone, she is with a boy. I am not sure if that is better or worse.
