A Lost Tooth, More to Lose, and a Found Grandma

What is happening around here lately is tooth drama.

First, Olivia finally lost that ever so stubborn front tooth that was dangling around in her mouth for the longest time. We have been working on that tooth for quite a while, and I swear, it had a mind of it's own and enjoyed teasing us.  It would get all wiggly in there, and act like it was on the verge of leaving, and then it would change it's mind and tighten up again.  Olivia was quite emotional about it too, and was not at all sure that she was ready to give that tooth up.  In the end, it became the first tooth she lost au natural, without any dental assistance.  She did have some sisterly assistance, however, in the form of Audrey, who, on Sunday decided  that she could take no more of the drama of the dangling tooth, and helped it along just a little, causing much chagrin on the part of Olivia.   It finally fell (was pulled) out Monday morning

As soon as it was out, Olivia felt much better and was all gappy smiles and sunshine again.  And she was suddenly and magically transformed into a big kid.  She just looks older to me now.
Then today, we had more dental drama.  We took Duncan in for a consult with the oral surgeon to have his wisdom teeth pulled.  Will tagged along to get checked out for this weird lump he has on his jaw.  The doctor took an x-ray of Will to check things out, and turns out he was not at all concerned about the lump, but VERY concerned about Will's wisdom teeth.  They are coming in sort of side ways and almost underneath his back molars.  So guess who else gets to have his wisdom teeth out?  We are going in for a toofer next week.  The doc said it will be much simpler to get Will's teeth out now rather than later.  We figured we might as well get them both done while we are well insured. And instead of one boy laying around the house drinking Jamba juice and having a great excuse to do nothing but lay around and play video games, we can have two!  Good times await, I am sure.

And then, I took Olivia with me up to Logan this afternoon to work on the yard, and guess who turned up?

Grandma Fisher Price!!

She has been missing for years.  We never knew what happened to her.  Her skirt is missing, but other than that, she cleaned up good as new!  We are all so happy to have her back, especially Grandpa Fisher  Price.
