One daughter is finishing up her study abroad program and facing the cold hard truth that she is going to have to come home one day soon. Before that day comes though, she is planning a grand finale of a backpacking trip across Europe, and ending with an extended stay in Portugal. She sure loves Portugal. Silly girl.
One daughter is in the very last weeks of her elementary school years, and looking dauntingly ahead to junior high. Her summer plans include a brand new part as a dancer in the city arts council musical. Which means that my summer plans will include lots of driving.
And one little daughter is tucked up in her bed tonight, on the verge of turning seven, and dreaming of mermaid Barbies and princess parties. Her front teeth are getting very wiggly, and it seems like she has become very wise and responsible in the past few weeks, ever since she announced that she was going to start acting like she was already seven.
There is just so much happy and sad packed into all of those girls and all that activity, I don't even know where to start.
