Denial and 26 Pictures

Next week is back to school. Yuck. I don't want to talk about that. We can't change it, can't slow it down, but nobody can make us think about it.  There is no school shopping going on around here, and FOR SURE  no adjusting bedtimes or routines. That stuff is for sissies.

We are living like rock stars this week.  Cake for breakfast.  Roller coasters for lunch.  Beach parties for dinner.
We've got baseball games and outdoor plays to hit.  We are BUSY in the fast lane.

And until Sunday night, about 8 o'clock, we are just going to go right on pretending that summer is never going to end.

Last week, we spent an afternoon in the mountains with Grandma and Grandpa, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, and throwing stuff in the water.

Yesterday was Lagoon with cousins.  No pictures.  Well, there ARE pictures, but they are on my phone and it is a pain to send them here.   It was CROWDED. Duncan rode 5 new rides.  I had to drug him and bribe him, but we got him on the Ferris wheel, the tilt-a-whirl (oh my stomach!) the Dragon, the Sky Ride,  and the Odyssea. He even went down the lazy river at the pool a couple of times.   This is a major accomplishment for him.

Today was Willard Bay.  Best day of summer so far, I would say.  Water, sand, sun, smores. What else could anybody ask for?

Must have at least one tantrum per outing

Good sports!
Wiped out
In other summer news, Alisa got her visa!  Mitch got a promotion at work! And paid his tuition and got his books! But talking about that would be just a little too close to the topic of school for me to feel comfortable discussing much more.
