Olivia had on the perfect outfit for the day's weather conditions. I am kicking myself for not getting a picture of her in it. She started out the day in her pink and green striped springtime skirt and a purple shirt with a frog on it. Later on, when we decided to go downtown, we told her to go put on some tights to keep her legs warm. And of course she picked the red tights with the snowflakes on them, then donned a turquoise jacket over her t-shirt. She looked awesome, and since it snowed in Layton today, the tights seemed very fitting.
Anyhow, since we didn't get an invitation to anybody's barbeque, we headed downtown for a free Joseph Smith movie and lunch at Gateway. We also stopped off at the visitor's center at Temple Square and took the kids up to see the Christus statue. Olivia, sprawled out on the bench in front of the statue, in her glorious outfit, looks up at Christ and says, "I really miss Jesus. I haven't seen him in over six years." Love that kid.
