I was picking up some toys in Olivia's room today when I noticed a few things shoved under her bed. I bent over to dig out whatever was under there and this is what I found:
In case you have a hard time identifying this odd collection, that pile of red and yellow furry looking stuff on the left is Barbie hair. The little specks of green in that pile are hacked-out pieces of a green dress, also pictured. The red headed Barbie is what is left of Ariel and her once long lovely hair. And of course, the scissors.
It is always about scissors with that girl. I guess I should be grateful she has graduated from her own hair to Barbie hair, and that she chose the $6 Target dress to cut up, rather than the $40 Easter dress. But she has also graduated to hiding her work now, and that can't be a good thing.
In other goings on, last week we took a day and went to the planetarium in Salt Lake with Grandma and Grandpa. We were obliged to take the traditional Mars-scape and Moonscape photos.....
And this was supposed to be a compelling and contrasting view from our front window, which is very picturesque, until you do a close up on this shot, and notice the graffiti all over the side of the shed. Which is really weird, because the graffiti is painted on the side facing the field. I would have expected it to be on the side facing the road. Makes me think maybe the people that live there did it. Oh well.. I'd still rather live here than Mars.
