Uh-oh. Kindergarten Drama. We got an e-mail from Olivia's teacher about kids stealing out of the treasure box. Names were named, and fortunately, Olivia was not one of them, but her teacher asked in the email if all the parents would talk to their kids about stealing, because apparently, it's been an ongoing problem. So, Olivia and I spoke, and the following conversation ensued:
Me: Some kids in your class stole some things out of the treasure box. If you ever stole anything, it would make me so sad. It would make Jesus sad too.
O: Well, I don't steal anymore.
Me: You don't steal anymore?
O: No. Now that I know Jesus is around on weekends, I don't steal anymore.
Good to know.
Kind of reminds me of this conversation with Will, when he was about Olivia's age:
Will: You don't know Jesus' phone number do you Mom?
Me: No. I do not know Jesus' phone number.
Will: I do. It's 2442.
Me: Really?
Will: Yeah. But don't call. It'll be busy.
