What would Valentines Day be without making a sticky mess of our kitchen while we whip up a big batch of heart-shaped sugar cookies with pink and red sprinkles on them? Olivia has been so excited for Valentines Day to come, and she did a very thorough job of frosting and sprinkling those cookies. I didn't take any pictures (lame) but some of them had about an inch of frosting on them. Yummy!
And Audrey has written a masterpiece Valentine thank-you letter to her teacher....I hope she doesn't mind me sharing, but I really want to remember this letter. It's priceless.
Dear Miss Adamson,
You have been the best teacher I ever have had. (No lie). You explain the things you teach me and encourage me to do better. You are very kind and I know that I have thought that my older teachers were the best teachers I ever had, but I was very wrong. Now I KNOW tht I will never find another teacher like you. I wish to grow up and be a teacher just like you. And I hope that my students will love me just like I love you.
