Long Days and Seasonal Plans

What a day. I left the house at 7:00 this morning, and walked in the door about 20 minutes ago. Nothing like a 16 hour day to make you feel......crazy. I didn't even get to see my Olivia today. She was asleep when I left and asleep when I got home. Audrey had a field trip to the Utah Symphony today, and I have yet to hear how it went. Will has a rash on his nose that I wanted to check out tonight, and I am curious about how poor old Duncan is surviving without his wii. I miss those guys when I am gone all day! And I didn't even get to see Alisa today either, even though I was in Logan for 14 hours. Poor me.

Mitch was still awake and in a good mood when I got home tonight. He got his acceptance letter to Weber State! Go Mitch. I would holler out a "rah!" to whatever Weber's mascot is, but I don't know what their mascot is. Wildcats maybe? I think the school colors are purple and something. And my neighbors tell me that the basketball games at Weber are way fun and cheap. Now that we are affiliated and all, we may have to check into that family entertainment option. We are ALL about fun and cheap around here.

Today marked 11 months and 9 days in our new house. We have painted a bit, and finished a bathroom, and cleaned up a flood, but other than that, we haven't done much in the way of home improvement. It is still mostly undecorated around here, and guess what? I don't care. Well, maybe I care a little bit, but not enough to actually commit to a paint color for my family room, or anything else as drastic as that. Some curtains and rugs and such would be nice, but again, that involves committing to colors, and I can't quite figure out my whole schema for this house. My schema keeps changing.

I am spades more excited about what is going to happen in my yard this spring. Big changes coming there! Bushes getting ripped out, big old branches getting cut off, a new fence, (oh, no matter what else happens, there better be a fence out there by summertime, or it's going to get tense around here) and some hay bale gardening, that's what my schema contains these days.
