TA DA!!!
Our proud winning entry in the ward Halloween costume contest!!! Audrey's "METKRAFT"-brand macaroni and cheese box won Most Creative Costume hands down. Her prize was a green jack-o-lantern flashlight to take trick or treating.
Will didn't win a prize for his stranger costume, but he was robbed I think. The $10.00 glasses lasted exactly 30 minutes before they broke and we had to glue them with hot glue, which made them sit crooked on his face, so then we taped them, but overall I think it just helped to tie the whole look together for him.
Olivia was a witch this year. Her choice came as a big surprise, since she is such princessey,girly-girl, dress up and make-up type. But as her primary teacher sagely observed, "she is a princess every other day of the year, and Halloween is for dressing up as something you are not."
Trunk or treating was a great warm up to the real deal tomorrow night. I'm really curious to see how crazy trick or treating is going to be around here. There were 120 kids at our ward party tonight. I'm thinking I better go buy another bag of candy for tomorrow....
