The Featherstone cousins, plural, left us on Wednesday after a wild week of swimming, shopping, climbing, riding, picnicking, sight-seeing, driving, driving, driving, playing, and eating.
The Featherstone cousin, in the singular, meaning James, arrived today, by bus. He is spending a few days in Salt Lake and Logan, hanging out mostly with Alisa. They don't play anymore. They hang out.
Saturday is bigtime in Cedar Fort. It's the annual 24th of July parade. For my kids, the significance of this day can be summed up in the word COUSINS, as in Yates cousins, plural. Also, Jackson cousins, now that Olivia and Savannah have connected and bonded.
Sunday and Monday will be cousin days too, since the Yates kids are coming home with us for the weekend.
So, taking into account all this fantabulous cousin time we are investing in, and throwing in the 40 hours I will be working over the next week, that means that the laundry and dishes ought to be caught up around here, oh, sometime in October, 2012.
Oh wait, I forgot to factor in that Will is coming home from scout camp on Saturday. Better give me an extra week or so on that laundry.
