Lazy Tuesday Morning

It is ten to nine on a Tuesday morning. The kids are off to school. Olivia climbed out of bed not five minutes ago and is now wrapped up in her snowman blanket and dozing on my lap. I have been sitting at the computer, blog stalking and delaying the inevitable moment when I have to look at the old checking account and see how much money we don't have. We have been running every moment, it seems, for the past three weeks. I don't remember the last time I just sat down, in the middle of the morning, and did nothing more constructive than cuddle with my girl. I predict this moment will last about 37 more seconds before she starts demanding some breakfast, or some other such nonsense, but it was nice while it lasted.
