We have already seen Santa quite a few times this month. He has spent so much time down here, I think the kids are beginning to wonder how he is ever going to get all his work done in time for Christmas Eve. Olivia has visited with him THREE times in the past week. She and her list should be etched into Santa's memory by now. Having visited with him so much, you would think she would remember that little catch about behaving yourself if you want Santa to visit. Apparently she wasn't listening that well, because this is what happens when I turn my back for a minute:

Mascara. She found my mascara and decided she needed some. The girl is into makeup. And fashion. The other day, as she was pulling on her boots to go to school, she asked me if they were fashion boots. Because she likes fashion.
And then it snowed! Hooray for white Christmases!! Although, I'm a purist: it only REALLY counts as a white Christmas if it snows on Christmas Eve. For now though, this stuff will do, and the kids have been spending a lot of time with snow angels, snow men and snow forts.

My parents even braved the snow to come up and see Livvi's dance recital (which was very cute, and pictures will be coming soon) and do some shopping. We also celebrated Grandpa's birthday a few days early. We got him bike socks. Not bad, if you are 77, and still in need of bike socks. When I grow up, I want to be just like my dad.

Yeah, he's pretty awesome.
And now let the final Christmas countdown begin. The kids are out of school, and boy have I got some shopping left to do!
