We've had a bit of an eventful week, but I don't want to start a story until I know the ending. And I won't know the ending until next week. So that will have to wait. In the meantime, here are the other, only slightly less gripping, happenings of the past week:
Maggie is shedding horrendously, and it is seriously annoying. She would be on the verge of losing her happy home if I wasn't a little worried about why she is suddenly leaving large clumps of black hair all over my house. We brushed her out last night and got enough hair out of her to stuff a small animal. Maggie is the only dog I've ever met who really really hates it when we brush her. Scratching is all good, but brushing is a big no thank you in her book.
Dan and I went to the New Moon screening this week. I have expressed my thoughts on the whole Twilight series on here once before, so I won't say anything more except that the movie is everything the book is and more. And that is not a compliment. Twilight is to me what brushing is to Maggie. Right up there on my Top 5 List of Things I Hate, along with with shrimp, scrapbooking, Celine Dion, and certain Relief Society meetings. So why, then, did I go to the screening? Bragging rights, what else?
While I'm being annoyed, what is up with everybody posting what they are thankful for on Facebook all month long? Really. Up with gratitude and all, but do we ALL need to be reminded of what YOU are thankful for on a daily basis? It's BORING. It's like Travelog Fast Sunday in cyberspace.
Now I'm really annoyed. I'm off to watch Jay Leno. Maybe he will be funny tonight, and that would be something to be thankful for.
