Goodbye Girls

I just said goodbye to my biggest girl and my littlest girl. Then it hit me that I won't have any of my girls at home for the next week. Alisa took off tonight for her Europe trip, and Olivia is off to join Audrey for a week at grandma's.

Yes, I got a little choked up and teary eyed saying goodbye to Alisa. Thank heavens for international cell phones and texting. Now if she will just remember from time to time to let her mother know that she is still alive...

No tears from Alisa- she couldn't wait to get out of here.


As for Olivia, she was less than excited to be leaving Mom again. She loves grandma's house, but is not happy at the reduced amounts of quality time she has been spending with me lately. But Audrey is happy to be getting some company at Grandma's, and they will have their daddy there in the evenings. My parents are lifesavers for taking both of them all week.

It might be a lonely week without my best girlfriends around.
