Conference Escapades

Today was stake conference, which we attended in the tabernacle. The Logan tabernacle has a big pipe organ setup, just like the Salt Lake tabernacle, and today they had a stake mens choir sing during the conference. About half way through the meeting, Alisa nudged me and pointed toward the choir seats. Right there, up in front for all to see, was a very large man, sound asleep, head leaned way back, mouth open, arms outstretched, and his suspenders hanging out. We just about fell out of our seats trying not to laugh too noticeably. That was entertaining, and so was the speaker who sang half her talk. Not too long after that, our local celebrity, Brent, who rides his bike around waving at everyone, made a grand entrance from the front and down the aisle wearing his Dora backpack and bike helmet and doing the customary wave. Olivia was surprisingly very well behaved. And Audrey and Will were busy playing with their Bakugon, which is the latest Pokemon/Yugio/Naruto-type toy craze to take over their little minds. I know a few relatives who will think we are evil for letting them take toys. But I can barely sit through a two hour meeting without a diversion, and my kids take after me. In fact, I had a purse full of Skittles for my diversion:)

What church do you go to cause it seems vastly more interesting than any meeting I have ever been to? Ha. JK. Anyhow, I agree on the whole sitting still thing. I must have developed Adult ADD cause I fidget almost as bad as the kids some days and if there are things like you described going on...forget about me even listening.
