Well, we have survived the first two days of summer vacation, and so far so good. Just layin' low and taking things as they come! I think it helps that the weather has been cool and rainy.
We got new shoes for Audrey and Livvi Grace today, and survived an all out screaming, kicking tantrum in the middle of the store. I hope this is not the beginning of a trend- tantrums have been a pretty rare thing in the life of Livvi Grace, and I would like to keep it that way, especially with a family vacation coming up next week...yep, it looks like our tax rebate is going into our gas tank to get our family down the road to Disneyland. We may not eat much on this trip, but if the car doesn't break down in Death Valley, we'll consider it a success.
