Sweet!

It's been a crazy couple of days around here, riding around in cars with dogs, enjoying some nice fall weather,
carving pumpkins,
and all kinds of treating: trick, trunk, pie and birthday.

After Halloween, nobody (meaning me) thought about taking a camera anywhere, so there is no photographic evidence of either of the two other big weekend events:
the Paulson Family Pie Party,

and
Dan's birthday party,

but we did both, in quick succession after Halloween.
The Pie Party was well attended, complete with adorable babies and chaotic cousin fun.
Dan's birthday, which was the seventh anniversary of his 39th birthday, had cheesecake, presents, and a movie premiere. And of course, leftover Halloween candy. sugar
We arrived home late Monday night to find ANOTHER mysterious bag of apples that somebody had dropped off at the house over the weekend. A very large bag. We were just celebrating the demise of the very large quantity of apples we got from the orchard. Now, we start anew. After this weekend, we have had all the apple pie, apple crisp, and apple flats we can handle for a while. We might have to break down and do a little applesauce.
ENOUGH APPLES ALREADY!
more complex, but sugar nonetheless
