Today was a day of two firsts.
First time while shopping that I looked down to find my kid standing there, in the middle of the store, half naked, with her shirt off, and in the process of removing her pants. That would be Olivia of course. She had found a dress she liked, and didn't see any reason to wait to try it on.
First time I caught my kid fainting on tape. Will passed out on the stage during his fifth grade concert tonight. I had the video camera running, and caught the whole thing. I wondered at first where he thought he was going. He was standing on the top row of bleachers, and took a tumble all the way to the bottom. Other than a bump on his head, a scrape on his nose, and a little injured pride, he seems fine now. He was out for only about a minute, maybe less. We figure he must have been dehydrated.
The past two nights Olivia has woken up screaming with an ear ache. Different ears each night. I am crossing my fingers that tonight she sleeps peacefully.....
