How.

Audrey's tepee. The assignment was to make a model of one of the houses of the different Indian tribes the third grade has been learning about. She could choose from about 4 different kinds of house. It was very providential that she chose the tepee because we had everything we needed already at home. The poles are from our front yard bushes, the cover is an old paper sack, and the feathers were pulled out of our feather duster.

I think it turned out amazingly well. The only thing I did was help her look online for some ideas, and helped her glue the sticks on the board. And I tied the yarn on the top. The rest of it is all Audrey. Now, if only we can remember to send it to school tomorrow!!
And that folks, puts a cap on all the big projects of the school year....it's a downhill slide from here to summer vacation.
