We celebrated Duncan's 14th birthday by letting him take the day off school. He got to open a new video game this morning, and spent the first part of the day trying out his new game. Then he and I went to lunch at Golden Corral. The first plate he brought back to the table had four pieces of fudge, a cupcake, and a scoop of mashed potatos on it. I sent him back to the buffet for something half way healthy to eat, but all told, I think he ate about 75 cents worth of food. After lunch, I had planned on taking him shopping, but he said he would rather have a surprise, so he went back home to spend some more time on the Wii, and I went shopping. Later in the evening, after a dinner of spaghetti and pizza, Grandma and Grandpa came over for cake and ice cream and presents.
In a stroke of incredibly good timing, here is Duncan this morning, standing in front of the clock at the time of his birth, 11:42 a.m. He had just washed his hair, which is why it looks weird.
Now we are going to try and figure out how to post his videos from You Tube onto his blog. He is way stoked to have stuff posted on youTube. He got a little video camera for Christmas, and just tonight, we finally got around to figuring out how to post them on YouTube.
