Alisa started off the new year by
CLEANING HER ROOM.
This is big. She hasn't cleaned her room in many many moons.
We had forgotten what color the carpeting was. The debris was calf-high.
She cleared out 3 garbage bags full of clothes for D.I., found numerous clothing items she had forgotten about, and cleared out bags and bags and bags of garbage, posters, keepsakes, knick knacks, old school papers, notes, etc. etc.
She gave her American Girl doll to Audrey.
She has been promising me, jokingly, that she would be sure and clean her room out before she leaves for college.
She got it done early. She even vaccuumed, dusted, and changed the sheets.
It looks fantastic.
So why am I sad?
