Dan has been working in Montana all weekend, and apparently, Missoula is too remote for cell phone service, because neither of his cell phones works from there. I can't remember the last time I felt so out of touch! I don't like not being able to call up and bug him at any given moment.
Right now there is a thundering herd coming up my stairs for dinner. I am going to kick half the herd out of my house to go eat at their own houses. The kids who remain here, i.e. MY kids, will not be happy to find out that dinner tonight is vegetable soup. After that, we are driving to Preston, Idaho (home of Napoleon Dynamite) to see some Christmas lights that Al and Craig say are a must see. We are even taking the Suburban. Now that gas prices are back within reach of sanity, we can afford to drive it again. If we have time, those of us who have eaten some soup MIGHT get a hot fudge sundae on the way home.
