Life is just kind of keeping on around here. We did family night tonight for the first time in a long time. That was nice. It lasted about 15 minutes, which must be a record, and nobody yelled at anybody else, another record.
Mitch wants to get his own apartment. He has a friend that just moved out and got his own place, and that setup is looking pretty sweet to him. I can't say I blame him. Most days, I want to get MY own apartment too. Not that I don't want to live with my family; I just want a place to get away from it all when I need to. It's just that whole money thing that is holding us both back....
Alisa is saving up for Europe. That is another thing I want to do-go to Europe. And that isn't going to be happening for me anytime soon either. I probably won't get further than Hyrum til after Christmas. I'm glad she gets to go though.
Duncan is mad because Will's friend broke his SeaWorld sword. He still loves his swords and shields and tunics. I wonder if he will ever get sick of the Legend of Zelda. That game and his cats are his two obssessions right now.
Will is full of interesting little bits of trivia. Tonight he told me that if you blow out of your mouth, it is the same speed as the speed of a hurricane, but you can't do much damage with your mouth because even though it has the speed, it just doesn't have the mass. I wish I had room in my brain to think about stuff like that.
Audrey is getting ready to get rid of some of her vast collection of stuffed animals. This must be a sure sign that tween-ness and eye-rolling are just around the corner.
Olivia was not Olivia tonight. She was Princess Ellie. Whenever we would goof up and call her Olivia, she would say "I"m not Livia Grace! I am Princess Ellie!" No, I don't know where she got Princess Ellie from, but she is BIG into make believe these days. I usually get to be Prince Eric and she is Ariel, but tonight she was on her own.
If I was a Disney Princess, I would definitely fall for Prince Eric. The whole castle-by-the-sea set up he's got would be very nice.
