Tonight we are the proud owners of two working toilets. Hooray!!!!!! Now I just need to finish painting and all will be well. Everyone's tummy troubles seem to have passed too, so this week is already shaping up to be better than last.
Alisa just walked in the door covered in paint. It is a tradition at Logan High School for the seniors to paint the street in front of the school at the beginning of Homecoming week. They use the school colors and they also paint a great big L in the intersection of Main and Center. It lasts for a few weeks before all the cars driving over it eventually wear it off. Paint on the streets is a big deal around here. North Logan paints a gigantic pumpkin in the middle of Main Street to advertise their pumkin walk every year, and I've seen a few other places somebody has painted stuff in the streets. Is this a Cache Valley phenomenon only? I don't know, but Alisa may be turning into a delinquent. She stole corn from someone's corn field the other night, and tonight, they snuck into the pool where her friend works, covered in paint mind you, and went for a dip. Naughty naughty. If she gets caught, she is in big trouble, since she already has a RECORD, for truancy and breaking curfew. And this is the girl who is the new Laurel President in our ward. Yep, just today, she got called to be Laurel President! Guess she can't be all that bad.
