My kids are growing up without me!!!
We got school pictures back today and everybody looks so old, especially Audrey. I think kids always look older in their pictures than they really are, but it's hard to believe all these big kids are mine. I will post them somewhere on here later.
Yesterday was college day at the high school, and Alisa went to the presentations for the University of Utah, Dixie, and BYU. She is leaning towards the U of U right now, because she really wants to get out of Logan, but Salt Lake is still close enough she could come home whenever she wants to. She changes her mind a lot though, so I'm not gonna hold my breath yet. After seeing on paper how much it actually costs to attend a university and live on campus, I think she took a little bit of a reality slap in the face. She wants to major in special education, so she really should think about USU, because they have a really highly rated education program. But she has been dead set against staying in Logan, and would not even consider it. Now, she is thinking maybe she should at least apply at USU, and keep her options open. It also depends on if she gets any scholarships anywhere. Big decisions coming up soon! She has to have all her applications in by the first of December.
I know she will do great where ever she winds up, but it's hard to believe this is all coming up so fast.
Mitch has signed up at Bridgerland (tech college) for some classes- he is going to take phlebotomy(!) and a photography class. Should be good for him. I never thought I would see him in college!
As an addendum to our toilet troubles, the moral of the story is, when it rains it pours...with all the extra action it has been seeing, the downstairs toilet has begun leaking profusely... and as if that weren't enough, Livvi has had diarrhea all day. Good times!
