Here are a few cousin pictures from our July 24th celebration in Cedar Fort... we missed the parade and the carnival, but the kids still had a good time just hanging out with cousins. Now we have Jacek staying with us for a few days while Audrey is staying with Sydney in Lehi, and we are gearing up for Mitch's going away party on Sunday. He leaves in NINE days. I find myself having moments where I bust out bawling over the dumbest stuff, just thinking about him being gone. Like today, Maggie was being her usual psychotic self, nervous and panting, and would not leave Mitch alone. He was kind of bugged, because her breath really stinks, and she was panting right in his face, but he reached down to pet her, and as soon as he did, she jumped up on the couch and climbed into his lap.(she has always believed she was a lap dog.) Just seeing the two of them together on the couch brought back a flood of memories of puppies and little boys, and how incredibly fast the past ten years has gone. I will miss him so much.
