sticky situations

We just got back from Aggie Ice Cream. Will and Livvi are in the bathtub, and Duncan and Audrey are waiting their turns, because somehow we all managed to come home covered in ice cream! Livvi decided half way through her cone that she didn't want it anymore, so that left me with two melty cones to deal with, Will was dancing around dripping on everyone, mostly me; Audrey was much too busy talking and playing to eat hers, and Duncan was his usual messy self. So we are all sticky. Olivia even managed to get it in her hair. Then in the car on the way home, we had a great time singing very loudly and very off key to Bare Naked Ladies, Duncan's favorite band.
Speaking of music, Alisa is, at this very moment, in the front row at the Kanye West concert. A friend of hers got tickets for his birthday, and they all rode down to Salt Lake in a limo. She keeps texting me about how cool it is. The last really cool concert I went to was Simon and Garfunkel in 2004, on a spur of the moment whim. We paid about $75.00 a ticket, and I thought I had lost my mind. But it was totally worth it. And I will probably never do it again. I think I just finished paying off that credit card....
