Bring on the Summer

The last day of school for the younger kids. Normally I get all sad and nostalgic on the last day of school, but since I was at work all day, I was removed from all the goings on, and didn't get too wrapped up in it, which was really fine. Now begins the annual summer adjustment where we are all out of our element for about three to four weeks, while we get used to our all-home-together-with-not-many-demands schedule, where the days seem like they will never end, we all get on each others nerves, and I get all stressed about everything that everybody isn't doing. Eventually we all settle into summer pretty good and get accustomed to sleeping later, playing all day and not accomplishing much of anything for three months! Alisa still has a week of school, poor girl...which means I still have to get up and make a lunch for four more days, poor me. That is one thing I am not going to miss- making four lunches every single weekday morning of my life!
William and Audrey are signed up for Camp Roger this year- they will be gone for a week. Duncan has scout camp, Will has overnight camp, Alisa has Laurel Training Camp, we are going to try and go to Disneyland in a week and a half, relatives are visiting, we gotta have a garage sale, Mitch leaves in August-summer '08 is going to fly!
